Stephen A. Friedman, M.D., F.A.C.P, Truck Accident Injury Attorney
Stephen A. Friedman received his Bachelor’s Degree from the
University of Pennsylvania in 1962, where he was a Union Carbide Scholar.
Upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, he entered medical
school at Jefferson Medical College, graduating in 1966. During medical
school, he received a National Research Council Grant in physiology
from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Following his medical
school training, Dr. Friedman completed a rotating internship at Pennsylvania
Hospital and then a residency in Internal Medicine, which he completed
at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 1972. During his residency
training, he was a Pennsylvania Plan Scholar at the University of
Pennsylvania, Department of Pharmacology. Following his residency
training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Friedman entered a Fellowship in
Pulmonary Disease at Cornell University Medical Center, which he completed
in 1973. Dr. Friedman was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in
1976. He practiced internal and pulmonary medicine in private practice
beginning in 1973.
Following a twenty (20) year medical career, Dr. Friedman entered
and received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1995 from the Widener
University School of Law. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar
in 1995. Dr. Friedman then went on to complete his legal education
earning an L.L.M. from Widener University School of Law in 1999.
Dr. Friedman focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice,
nursing home malpractice, drug and medical device litigation, and
health and corporate medical law. Dr. Friedman has participated
in representing individuals who have been seriously injured as a
result of the negligence of healthcare providers of every type and
brings significant medical expertise and background in evaluating
medical cases and representing the firm’s clients to ensure
the best possible recovery and successful representation.
Dr. Friedman is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and
the Healthcare and Medical Legal sections of the Bar Association.
